When I met with Anne and Daniel for the first time, we were chatting about the timeline of their wedding day and the locations they wanted to get wedding portraits. As they spoke about the Great Court at University of Queensland St Lucia campus, it was clear that this was a special place for both. They spoke about the impressive sandstone buildings and described how the court looked it's most spectacular towards the end of the day, as the sun set behind it's walls to the west.
On a windy Sunday afternoon, we explored the arched walkways, said hello to some resident ducks and through the eyes of Anne and Daniel, I truly saw the beauty of this location. Both were patient as I picked their brains on a few random science questions and we mused on the important things like genetics, composition of light and why people feel the need to chase birds.
As a side note, Anne and Daniel decided to enquire about my wedding collections on the basis of a recommendation and the fact that I love Mexican food. This in my humble opinion, makes them very very clever people indeed.
Anne and Daniel, thank you for bravely agreeing to your engagement experience. I have no doubt whatsoever, that these are going to be photos that you both will really cherish more and more as the years pass by. I so look forward to returning with you both later this year, on what will be your wedding day.
This is your story xx
