I met Megan a lifetime ago when we were both living and working in London.
Megan was house sharing with my best friend from school and I remember spending a weeks’ wage on transport to travel across from East to West London one night to join a party in their flat. Whilst I don’t remember too many details of the night, I do remember feeling completely at ease in Megan’s company. She seemed to never stop smiling or making others laugh.
Cue 17 years later, Megan got in touch about a family session. As I heard her laugh at the end of the phone, I could just picture the face of that twenty-one year old back in London flat-share.
On a sunny spring afternoon, I was reunited with Megan and her husband Mark, and met her beautiful boys. The emphasis on this session was family fun, play and cuddles. Throughout, Megan laughed, carried her boys with ease, spun and kicked the waves. These moments were punctuated with holding her boys tight, or stealing a quick hug with Mark.
Megan, you are an inspiration and your boys are lucky to have the strongest, most beautiful, happiest Mum around.
