Eleni + Dean | Brisbane City Wedding
I'm not quite sure how or why, but by the end of Eleni and Dean's wedding day, I felt like one of the family.
In fact, from the moment I met Eleni and her Mum, then later Dean at their New Farm Park engagement shoot, I feel completely at ease. I could sit at the kitchen table a couple of weeks out from their wedding and along with other family members, be part of the excitement and chaos of all the final plans. I would meet other family members on the day of the wedding and chat to them like long lost friends.
I believe it's the sign of infinitely wonderful people who can make you feel this way.
Theirs was an autumn wedding and with a late ceremony that would see day turn to night before the first kiss, Eleni and Dean went ahead and had a First Look.
In between moments of calm - breathing in one another and taking in the gravity of what was before them on this stunning autumn day - Eleni and Dean laughed. They laughed in that hard, powerful way that only the best of friends laugh and this continued through their ceremony and reception. In fact, one of the final frames of the night, they are still laughing. As I watched these two celebrate joyfully, unabatedly, I thought not for the first time - how lucky am I to be part of something so wonderful?
Eleni, Dean and your wonderful, warm and generous families, I can't thank you enough for welcoming me into your lives and having me there to capture your wedding.
This is your story xx
